Just as you think that you are on a straight piece of highway, Artcraft Road curves to the left to stay clear of Laguna Meadows Estates, an exclusive residential gated community. And without any lighting, if you blink or look away, you will find yourself on the steep shoulder of Artcraft.

This was perhaps the tragic end of a simple drive down Artcraft to get home for one New Mexican resident. The tire marks show that the car went off the road onto the shoulder and then the car came back on to Artcraft. Unfortunately, the correction was excessive.

The car rolled over several times before endding up in the center ditch between east and west lanes.

The driver was alone and was taken to area hospitals.
