The summer wouldn't have been complete without kids selling lemonade on the sidewalk. So sure enough, even though it was late September... it was sure lemonade season... still.

10 year-old Jessica Therrio and her pal Veronica Gamboa were selling lemonade, cookies and brownies on Upper Valley Road near Artcraft one hot Saturday morning.

There was one problem... there was no lemonade. Unfortunately, for us, they had just run out. Veronica was back home mixing up a new batch... but that didn't stop Jessica from holding up her sign and stopping traffic.

In the end we had to settle for a couple of cookies... they were out of brownies too.

Jessica and Veronica should be applauded for their entrepreneurial spirit.
