Flag Gives Us All Hope.

Well, we really did it this time. When I say we I mean we... all of us.

We are all responsible for what happens in America. We can't blame it on one person or another... one political party or another. We all have to stand up and say "i am responsible for what goes on in America".

As long as the flag flies proudly we have a chance. That flag stands for freedom... but freedom is not clear in everyones mind.

So it can mean... freedom to excel, freedom to envision a world of peace and harmony, freedom to create a world at the local level that will vibrate of goodness globally.

Memorial Day and the Fourth of July have passed and so everyone puts away their flags... if they even bothered to celebrate our great nation and the men and women that work hard and also those that fight hard to defend it.

The flag is a great symbol and it takes a great people to do great acts daily to uphold that symbol. We can not just sit back and blame others for the problems.

If we don't like the two party system of politics then change it.

If we don't like wasting money on war while our own residents are dying after Katriana... then we must change it.

If we don't want to be paying $7.00 a gallon for gasoline... we better change things... NOW.

After many years of working to improve the Upper Valley or deflect the plans that those with greed as a motivator have aimed at her; it became clear. Special interest is the acid that will destroy our great nation.

And it is clear that if what takes place a the city level is any indication of what is taking place at the national level; then it is not a better plan for our people that is taking shape in Washington. It is always mistaken priorities.

It is time for all of us to make our Upper Valley strong and united not just for the farmland but for our relationships with our neighbors... old and new. We must act as if we are holding the American Flag in our hand everytime we go forth into the world.

The Flag... a great symbol.... Represent it... Well.
