The Canutillo High School Eagles looked much better than the 4-6 team that struggled last year. Quaterback Rene Estrada is part of the reason. Estrada passed and ran at will much of the game

The Canutillo defense also played a major role in shutting down the Mustangs of Burgess. The Canutillo 28-18 win over dirstrict rival Burges was the Eagles firstr district win of 2005.

After a loss to Clint the week before; this game gave the hometown crowd much to cheer about.

Canutillo will be celebrating Homecoming this week. Let's all get out and support our Upper Valley teams.
