Scientology Bus Stops in El Paso.
The Church of Scientology Bus burst onto the scene at the Walmart parking lot near I-10, in one color... and one color only. Yellow. The bus, tent and tee shirts worn by the volunteers were all bright yellow.
They asked El Pasoans if they were "Stressed Out". There were a few local shoppers that were led from the main store area to the tent by volunteers but refused to be interviewed.
Their message is that if you are stressed out... your neighbor is probably stressed out as well and so you have common ground to begin to make your home and neighborhood less stressful by building sound rational relationships.
The "church" is a non-profit corporation and the brain-child of Ron Hubbard. It offers a wide range of advice; from community volunteering to a form of psychotherapy conducted by the "church" facilitators.
