La Viña Spring Blues Festival.
The Stark’s, of La Viña Vineyards and Winery, must have consulted the Farmer’s Almanac. The weather which had been dreadful and up until Friday night windy to the point of distraction; suddenly became ideal on Saturday.
The wine flowed and the music filled the air. There were events and games for the kids. And, of course, children of all ages could get their face painted. There were many booths offering food.... some of the favorites were roasted corn and ice cream sandwiches. With wine????
The vendors indicated that business was slow and some say that the crowd was smaller than in the past, but there were two days of relaxation and wine tasting for the many who came out to the Upper Valley.
