Valley Canals Present Dangers
A 2004 Tahoe SUV ended up in the La Union East Lateral Canal at the corner of Westside Road and West Borderland Road.
The vehicle was traveling west on West Borderland when for some reason the driver turned to the right. There were no other vehicles involved. The driver and passenger were taken to a local hospital in an ambulance.
