Subdivisions and Country Roads Mix... Badly.
A two vehicle accident occurred on Wednesday March 16, 2005 on Westside Drive just north of Gomez Road at approximately 11:50 a.m.
The driver of the 2005 Cadillac Escalade SUV drove out of the street of a newly created subdivision while attempting to turn left.... south. His vehicle was struck by the 1999 Chevrolet Silverado pick-up truck.
There were no serious injuries and the driver of the Cadillac, who would not give his name, indicated that there was a beer delivery truck at the store on Westside 1/4 mile north of Gomez Road and because of the truck the driver of the truck couldn't see him until it was too late.
