Snow Blankets Upper Valley all Night.
It didn't last long but after years of drought and higher than normal winter temperatures; this years pre-Christmas snow was a welcomed treat.
From the tip of Transmountain Peak all the way through the valley and up again into the desert mesa; the Upper Valley was completely white with snow early on.
Of course it came on the wintery breath of a pipe-popping bitterly cold wind. Temperatures plunged overnight which was long enough to insure a white morning but soon the sun burnt off any haze and like a snowman it just disappeared. But it was great while it lasted.
