As long as the Indian Summer continues... West Nile Virus is still a threat. Make sure you and your neighbors, especially the children and the elderly take plenty of precautions against close encounters with mosquitoes.

Whle it may be that most of the residents in the region have contacted the disease... many don't ever have symptoms... why take chances. There is no assurance that those contacting the disease will develop an immunity to further contact.

Colds, flus and respitory problems as well as any conditon that compromises the immune function place the person at a greater risk of serious complications of developing serious neurological conditions or even death.
