West Nile a More Suble Threat.

As we have been reporting all season... West Nile is here to stay and it will not leave. Residents that are fooled by the cool weather may not be so lucky.

The worst combination for serious complications from either of the two viral threats carried by mosquitoes... West Nile and Western Equine Encephalitis... is a compromised immune system.

The mosquitoes were out in number after the rains a couple of weeks ago and then the sunny weather heated the air up and the mosquitoes started breeding again.

Make sure to keep you defenses up... both bodily and in prevention to avoid being bitten. Catch a cold or worse yet.. the flu and West Nile will take advantage of a weakened immune system.

Now that it is cooler... the mosquitoes are sneeking into vehicles to avoid the cold... so when you sit in a car that has been out... check for mosquitoes.

Remember.... A Hard Freeze... is best for the Disease. Don't let down your guard until after the hard freeze.
