One of the Upper Valley's most unique shops is going out of business. The Gazing Ball which was opened five years ago by Nancy Maldonado and sold by her in 2006 is now going out of business.

The shop, which had carried a wide array of gifts and novelty items that Maldonado hand picked, had been one of the favorite stops for many shoppers from Las Cruces, Cd. Juarez and also throughout El Paso.

However, while Maldonado did utilize the power of the VPC Matrix in her advertising, both in Upper Valley Living Magazine as well as online at www.UpperValleyToday.com; the new owners did not choose to keep that power working for them.
