Renowned artist, writer and long time Upper Valley resident, Bill Rakocy help an open house Aril 25th & 26th. Rakocy was participating in an area art world treat of sutdio tours to area artists home studios. The tour was organized by the Plenin-Air Painters of El Paso.

Rakocy opened up his studio to visitors as well as art buyers. What visitors witnessed was the resurrection of Rakocy's studio. Rakocy has had the bad luck of having his studio devastated by fire as well as by water. The last and most recent was the floods of 2006.
