We recently were made aware of some off-color and at least in poor taste advertising in the El Paso region. We started paying closer attention to junk mail and found some poor choices at sexual innuedos or hip sayings used by prominent businesses.

It is hard to imagine this kind of message being accepted by El Pasoans.

We recently documented some very dubious forms of "advertising" on the air and will investigate further.

When a community starts to accept this lowest form of attention getting the whole community suffers because the lines of morality and expressions worthy of human beings become blurred. And those most affected are our children.

Come on El Paso... learn to say no to trash, junk mail and gutter talk in advertising.
