Cold Mornings but No Snow this April.
What area weather records indicate and what many area residents will remember is that during the 1980's there were not one but two powerful snow storms that covered the region with several inches of snow.
This April as temperatures rose sharply two cold fronts blasted through the area and lowered temperatures during the day back into the 60's & low 70's but there wasn't any snow or precipitation.
What was perhaps more noticable were the freezing cold mornings in the Upper Valley as the temperatures droped below 32 degrees on more than a few mornings.
