St. Patrick's Day... er, Night Celebration Festive.

St. Patrick's Day came and went and it seems that most of those that honor this Catholic Saint's day do so at night. Actully, we found some doing the honoring during the day but they didn't seem to care that it was St. Pat's Day.

For others it seemed to be that many of the revelers who actually put on some green... Do you still get pinched if you're not wearing green? Ouch!... They were able to use a green shirt or blouse that normally they wouldn't put on... in company. This bunch of "believers" were celebrating at Aceitunas in the Upper Valley.

Others complain that it was wrong for the County of El Paso to take the day off. But, for most that we found having a toast to our fine Irish saint; it was just another reason to head to their local bar or pub for some refreshment. And by the looks of things... it must have been a very hot day.
