Winter Casts Hard Shawdows on the
Franklin Mountains.
One of the great things about being a photographer in the higher/lower lattitudes is that the shadows play all year round.
And in the winter, the Franklin Mountians have the sun casting long shawdows on all of its imperfections and irregularities.
As seen from the Upper Valley the mountains actually take on a set of stripes.
With spring, these will be gone and a new set will appear in the summer.
