Franklin Mountains Retain a Bit of Winter Coat.
People don't realize how great it is... unless you live in the Upper Valley... to have the Franklin and Organ Mountains to look at all day and night. The Franklins don't get as much snow as the Organ Mts. east of Las Cruces, NM but we get a very up-close look at them. And when the air is clear, as on a Saturday... and the snow is still lingering.... WOW!!!
