Lady T-Bird's Slowdown Contributes to Win.
This game was based upon fundamentals. The T-Birds ran and ran and passed and passed. They shot when they wanted to and took good shots.
Coronado played the slowdown game and ended up the winner against the Lady Aztecs from El Dorado High School.
Coronado's Shooting Guard was not frustrated in the slowdown. She was patient and was more interested in the win that a lot of points. It may have had that effect on the Aztecs. They could only muster 19 points in a 23 - 19 loss to the Thunderbirds.
