Lettuce Crop Starts Winter Quickly.
Another crop that was affected by the rains was the winter crops of lettuce and onions. Because of the wet soils planting was delayed. But to offset that delay the warn autumn allowed the lettuce to get a good jump in size before the winter blact hit at the end of November.
