T-Birds Dump Troopers of Eastwood.... Still Unbeaten.

Even though QB Cameron Trotter was having an off night completing only 2 of 16 passes Coronado High School keep on track to an unbeaten season with a 38-28 victory over the Troopers of Eastwood.

The game was not pretty and there were plenty of mistakes but this was the 3-5 Troopers. Coronado should have shut them out and scored 50 pts. Perhaps the T-Birds were looking ahead to next Thursday's game under the lights at the Sun Bowl stadium where they will face their Westside arch-rival the Franklin Cougars... who have nothing better to do than salivate thinking about converting their losing season into something memorable with a victory or the unbeaten T-Birds.

One big problem is the loss of FB Diego Davila. He was injuried and may not play against Franklin. Davila had a big game until he was injured running up 99 yards on 9 carries.

The running game was the only thing that keep Coronado ahead throughout the game.
