Fall in the Upper Valley Arrives... But late!
The rains stopped and the weather heated back up... Autumn had to wait in the wings.
You would have thought that we would have had the wild and wet autumn of 2004 after the monsoons wet even our bones if not the china and crytal. But, no. Those who bet on the weather are destined to lose.
Many were wondering if winter was going to land right on top of a wet southwest. But, the weather heated up and up... and we were wondering if we should get out and have an outdoors barbeque Thanksgiving.
Luckily the colors were highlighted by the periodic rains by the... this year's... Pacific huricanes or "cyclones". Enjoy. More on the fall color in the Holiday Issue of the Upper Valley Living Magazine.
