Cougars Get Needed Homecoming Win.

The Franklin Cougars went "bad" as they mauled the Soccoro Bulldogs during the homecoming game at Coronado Stadium. The Cougars had lost three straight to start the season but had given up only 26 points. Tonight they got something off of their chest. The result: a 34-7 mauling of Soccoro.

QB Billy Hayes revealed his rocket-launcher arm and the ground game was steady.

Soccoro put up a galant effort but it was no match for the balanced attack of a waking offense and the solid defense offered by the Cougars.
