T-Birds Shred Bel Air Highlanders.
Coronado QB Cameron Trotter used the Bel Air experience to show off the power of the balanced offensive machine. Passing to almost everyone that could run out for a pass, Trotter hit a high percentage of his passes as well as running for plenty of yardage along for a TD.
The T-Birds used passes from QB Cameron Trotter to soften the line for the awesome power of the T-Bird running attack. Along with Waldo Rodriguez, the steady running of Diego and Julian Davila made for a powerful statment. The game was decided early in the 1st quarter and Coronado steamrolled to a 34-0 score.
The Bel Air cheerleaders had little to cheer about... er, other than getting their picture taken as the brutal Coronado defense shut out another foe. Coronado has evolved into a defensive force just as Franklin was in that department last year. Coronado has held six opponents to under 75 points.
