The Silver City Blues Festival in Silver City, New Mexico brings in world class talent for great Blues.
Nestled in the cool of the hills near the Gila Wilderness, Silver City offers a great and very, very COOL experience.
Great Blues Players are always showing up and this is a tribute to what a community can really pull off. The Miembres Arts Council is responsible for this great festival. Can you say... "over achievers"?
Not only is the weather cooler... but the festival is held in a park and people really can let thier hair down and enjoy the music without having to stay seated.
