Summer Heat Ends with Rain... Rest of Nation Cooks.
The Upper Valley was bailed out of the oven when Mother Nature got back on schedule.
Seems like decades ago... it used to rain on every Fourth of July. Well, it did this year too. Hope it continues.
Good for us... with our temperatures dropping into the 80’s... but it is not “dry” heat any more. That high pressure system that was drawing up Gulf moisture... was cooking the rest of the nation... highs in the 120’s in Cali-forn-ya. Then moving on to the midwest with Oklahoma and Arkansas getting blasted daily.
